Our Premium King rooms boast a large ensuite bathroom with a separate shower and bath tub. Contact our reservations team to request this room. Subject to availability at the time of booking.
Each room has its own unique view. You'll have to try them all to see them all.
Yes, the hotel has wheelchair accessible rooms within the Studio Suite category. We also have accessible facilities and elevators. Contact our team at 03 9124 4800 or thestandardxmelbourne.reservations@standardhotels.com and they will find a room that fits just right.
Pets are welcome in select rooms, including our Premium King With Balcony and Suite Spot. You may request a dog bowl, bed and treats upon arrival. We do have a pet waiver form that is presented at check in.
No, we don't offer any twin rooms.
Yes, we have rooms with a balcony. If you want outdoor space guaranteed, book our Premium King with Balcony.
The Suite Spot has a maximum capacity of 2 adults and 1 child (Not over 3 y.o.) with baby cots available on request.

Photoshoots of any kind are not permitted anywhere in and around The StandardX, Melbourne without approval via email from marketing. Please contact sxmlb.marketing@standardhotels.com with any inquiries. If approved, all fees will be included in a location agreement which must be signed and returned with a Certificate of Insurance.

Snap Fitness Fitzroy is located a 9-minute walk from the hotel at at 224 Brunswick St. See the reception to get a casual entry pass.
Hotel guests are also entitled to one free class at Upstate Studios Fitzroy.
Fitzroy Swimming Pool is located a 7-minute walk from the hotel at 160 Alexandra Parade. This is a council pool and charges for entry apply.
